Anderson Afternoon 5/8

So I hope you remembered to attend today's Anderson Afternoon. It was the 2008 Asian Heritage Month Celebration @ Anderson, Hosted by GCBA, KBSA, JABA, SABA, ASA, and AMSA. The event Sponsor, Singha, brought us more than 400 bottles of the famous Thai beer. "[All bottles] were gone in 45 minutes! You guys are awesome," noted Charles, the VP of Operations at Singha.
For cultural performances we had Japanese Kendo, Chinese Folk Dance, Taichi, and Indian Folk Dance! Check out some photos here. If you missed this, don't forget that there are still many ways to celebrate Asian Heritage Month (see previous post)!

AMSA wants to point out several of the many friends that made this event a success-- Bo for the master planning, TJ for Indonesian food, Bon + Pheobe for AMSA table, Cliff for music, Clara for MC, and Linus for Taichi. Thanks everyone for coming, hope you had a very special Anderson Afternoon.

Great pictures Jenny. Next year, I'm either not taking a class on Thursday afternoons or just skipping class!
